Changing of the guard !
With effect from 1 February 2024, there will be an important change in the roles at IMCI and IMCI (UK)*.Dr Udo Wolff is taking a well-deserved retirement from his position as General Manager. Udo is IMCI primary rock since 1999, when the head-office team consisted of just two people.
Ulrich Heinemann, Managing Director of IMCI and Company Secretary of IMCI (UK) says: "I am very pleased that Dr Wolff will continue to be available to us for special certification projects, now again as Certification Manager. His 25 years of experience will remain with our customers and us, and Udo will be able to apply the brakes as and when required. It is good that he is staying with us!"
Mr Ulrich Manigel is following in his footsteps. Ulli has been a leading member of the head office team since 2002. He is leaving his previous position as Director of Certification, which now needs to be re-assigned.
Ulrich Heinemann says: "In accordance with our quality assurance system, Ulli can now sign IMCI and IMCI (UK) certificates if I am unavailable due to absence. I am very pleased that he is following in Udo's footsteps and hope that we can find a successor for Ulli Manigel in his former position. Like many other companies in our industry, IMCI is dealing with a generational change."
