New EU Official Journal publication
According to the COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING DECISION (EU) 2021/2173 of 8 December 2021 another 4 ISO standards for recreational craft and personal watercraft have been harmonised.EN ISO 8099-2:2021 “Small craft – Waste systems – Part 2: Sewage treatment systems"
The new standard will apply from 9 December 2021.

EN ISO 8849:2021 “Small craft – Electrically operated bilge pumps"
The new standard will apply from 9 December 2021.
Standard EN ISO 8849:2021 is to replace standard EN ISO 8849:2018 immediately.

EN ISO 14945:2021 “Small craft – Builder’s plate"
The new standard will apply from 9 December 2021.

EN ISO 14946:2021 “Small craft – Maximum load capacity"
The new standard will apply from 9 December 2021.
In order to give manufacturers sufficient time to prepare for the application of standard EN ISO 14946:2021, the date of withdrawal of the EN ISO 14946:2001/AC:2005 has been extended until 9 June 2022. Until then both standards give the Presumption of Conformity.

Be aware that according to Article 7, cl. 4 of the Directive 2013/53/EU it is the manufacturer’s obligation to use always the latest harmonised standard in order to achieve Presumption of Conformity.
